Prima Networks agrees casino & poker supply deal with Dutch lottery - Gaming Intelligence

Microgaming-powered software provider Prima Networks will serve as the primary provider of online casino games to the newly merged Dutch lottery operator Nederlandse Staatsloterij/De Lotto, as well as its exclusive online poker supplier.

Malta-based Prima Networks won the contract following a competitive tender process last year, with the two companies now signing a letter of intent which will come into effect once iGaming regulations come into force in the Netherlands.

The agreement will see Prima Networks supply Microgaming’s casino games and poker software on desktop and mobile via the Quickfire platform.

Once integrated with the Quickfire platform, the Dutch Lottery (its new name will be announced this summer) will also gain access to third party content from over 20 development partners including the entire range of Microgaming titles.

Loraine Schoevers, director of Prima Networks, commented: “Following a competitive and in-depth tender process, we were delighted to be chosen by Nederlandse Staatsloterij/De Lotto as their preferred casino and poker supplier.

“We are well versed in regulated markets and working with state lotteries, and winning this contract strengthens Prima Networks’ and Microgaming’s position in the European regulated market.

“While we wait for the Dutch market to open, we’re busy getting the bespoke solution for the newly merged organisation ready for when we can launch,” added Schoevers.

Prima Networks has the rights to license Microgaming branded software to third parties in regulated markets in Europe, including Italy, Denmark, France, Belgium, Spain and Germany.
