Dutch Lower House to hold General Consultation on gambling policy on November 27

The Permanent Committee for Security and Justice of the Dutch Lower House has scheduled a General Consultation on gambling policy for Wednesday, November 27, from 10:00 to 13:00.


MPs will question Minister Sander Dekker for Legal Protection on the government's policy proposals related to gambling and games of chance. The following three topics have been scheduled for debate. Relevant documentation (in Dutch) has been appended.

  1. The annual legislative and policy note of the Netherlands Gambling Authority (Parliamentary Letter, Policy Note, Implementation Review of the Remote Gaming Bill).


  1. The secondary legislation that is to accompany the Remote Gaming Act (Parliamentary Letter, secondary legislation)


  1. The proposed revision of the Dutch lottery regime (Parliamentary Letter).
