A week after announcing that it would acquire 32Red for £175.6m, Kindred Group, the parent company of Unibet and other online gambling brands, has expressed an interest in acquiring the online operations of Denmark’s former state monopoly Danske Spil for DKK 4bn ($571m).

Maltese Gaming Minister Manuel Mallia reacted to findings of a recent survey among locally based iGaming executives who felt that salaries were not competitive enough by stating that their wages were higher than in other sectors on the island. Salaries among executives working in Malta reportedly compare poorly to those in London and Gibraltar. Executives in Malta can demand annual salaries ranging between €90,000 to as much as €140,000.
