The Netherlands Gambling Authority has issued a €400,000 fine to Malta-based TSG Interactive Gaming Europe Limited, which operates the pokerstars.eu domain. The operator was found to have repeatedly violated Dutch gaming laws between July 2018 and January 2019.

Due to the two-year cooling-off period, PokerStars will not be able to be licensed in time for the projected opening of the regulated Dutch online market on January 1, 2021 – unless the regulator’s ruling will be overturned on appeal.
