Holland Casino has reported a net loss after corporate taxes of €28.3m, compared to a €32.5m profit in H1 2019.

The casino chain was forced to close its doors for almost four months due to corona-related measures. “Corona has hit our company hard,” Holland Casino chief executive Erwin van Lambaart said. “Without any time to prepare, we had to close our doors and our nearly 4,000 employees suddenly found themselves at home.”
