At last week’s Gaming in Holland Conference & Expo, Ministry of Security and Justice officials Dennis van Breemen and Frans Maas provided the audience with a preview of the secondary legislation that is being drawn up at the Ministry to accompany the Dutch remote gaming bill currently under consideration by the Senate.
In order to allow our visitors to take note of the exact wording of the above-mentioned officials, we have included an unabridged video recording of their presentation below.
Mr Van Breemen and Mr Maas also provided us with the slides that accompanied their talk. These can be downloaded here.
The secondary legislation proposals were subsequently discussed by our expert panel, consisting of Maarten Haijer, Secretary General at the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA); Corinne Valletta, Head of Regulatory Affairs and Group Compliance at Betsson Group; gaming lawyer Justin Franssen, Partner at Kalff Katz & Franssen; Sanne Muijser, General Secretary at VAN Kansspelen; and Rutger-Jan Hebben, MD at trade association Speel Verantwoord.
A written recap of the sessions on secondary remote gaming legislation and the Netherlands Gaming Authority’s new online enforcement policy is available here.
