After a year-long negotiation and over thirty instances of industrial action, Holland Casino and several labor unions have agreed to a new five-year collective bargaining agreement. Employees will receive a one-off payment of 4.5% of their annual wages in 2016, wage increases of 2% in 2017 and 2018, as well as wage increases in line with the national average in the remaining years of the agreement. During the five years of the new CBA, there will be no forced redundancies, the casino chain also promised.
